Connect to Grok

Once your MCP server is running (see Setup MCP Server), follow these steps to connect it to Grok.

Steps

1. Go to grok.com, open Settings, and find the MCP Servers section. Click Add MCP Server.

2. Enter the connection details from FeynmanLM → Studio → Connect MCP:

   Field	Value
   Name	FeynmanLM
   Server URL	Your Tailscale URL with /mcp appended, e.g. https://your-mac.your-tailnet.ts.net/mcp

3. Grok supports OAuth discovery for remote MCP servers. When you first use a FeynmanLM tool, Grok opens a browser window to complete the OAuth handshake.

Try It Out

Ask Grok things like:

• "What sources do I have in FeynmanLM?"
• "Read my latest paper and summarize the key findings."
• "Search my sources for anything about attention mechanisms."
• "Quiz me on the paper I just read using the Feynman technique."

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → MCP Servers, find FeynmanLM, and remove it.
